On December 2, 2007, Bianca Noons lapsed into a coma due to diabetic complications. It is requested at this time that the Neutral Sisters have the full support and prayers of those who care for them.
The Neutral Sisters Kyra Noons (left) and Bianca Noons (right), are award-winning musicians that embody a world-view full of empathy, equality, peace, love and warm spirituality. This comes through in their sweet harmonies and thought-provoking lyrics.
On December 2nd, Bianca had a hyperglycemic attack that caused her blood sugars to skyrocket to 1,800 and her heart to stop beating. This took place just two days before the Neutral Sisters were set to travel to Kenya (their country of birth) on a publicity tour to promote their upcoming East Africa Home Coming tour.
Bianca is living proof of God's almighty strength. She was on her way to the hospital (North Cypress Medical Center in Houston) when she stopped breathing. Her boyfriend Ray, followed by her brother Daniel, immediately pulled into a nearby gas station. By the grace of God, an off duty EMT was on the scene to start CPR and sustain her until the ambulance arrived to rush her to the hospital. She was clinically without a pulse for approximately 30 minutes, with blood sugar levels that were unheard of …. and then her heart started to beat. She has been in an anoxic coma since that time and every day we witness miracles in her case.
We are currently in the midst of needing to raise funds for an herbalistic treatment course which includes neurological accupuncture out of Malaysia, as well as totally reconstructing the inside of our home in an effort to be equiped to bring Bianca back into a home enviroment.
Bianca is currently at Harbourview Care Center, League City, Texas.
